3 Reasons Why You Should Order a Personalized Astrological Forecast

I believe that everyone should have a personalized 12-month astrological forecast, such as those I review on the Personalized Annual Horoscopes page. Moreover, I go so far as to say that you should have a 12-month report for each of the most significant people in your life.
Here are three reasons why:
1. You’ll get a better sense of what lies ahead for you. To me, a prime benefit of astrology is that it can help prepare you for life’s many ups and downs. But I want to be quite clear about how this actually works. It’s not that you’ll get your report and realize, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to get a life-threatening illness in May.” It doesn’t work that way.
I describe astrology as a symbolic language that intricately combines geometry and poetry. The geometry component might lead one to conclude that astrology is a science, but that’s misleading, largely because of the other part of astrology, the poetic, symbolic side. Because of this aspect of astrology, astrology is not really predictive in the most formal sense of the word; instead it’s poetically, vaguely descriptive, a finger pointing at something hidden in the dark.
I’ll give you a typical example. For every astrological transit that you may experience in a year (typically 20 to 30 major ones) there are literally thousands of ways that transit can manifest. Let’s say your 12-month forecast tells you that Jupiter is moving in the sky to make a 90-degree angle (square) to Saturn in your natal chart, and that transit will last for a couple of weeks next month.
Jupiter symbolizes the energy of expansion and Saturn of constriction and limits; put the two of them together in a stressful relationship, and there are numerous ways the transit could express itself. You might have to choose between alternative courses of action, or between expansion and constriction in some area of your life. The meaning of a transit is just that vague, but (this is important) there are a limited number of possibilities to prepare for that fit the symbolism of the transit.
I’ve been studying transits for many, many years, and, even though I have known that a particular transit was coming, I have seldom been able to predict exactly how that transit was going to manifest in my life. But I did know that something matching that general description was coming, and when it did manifest, I felt better prepared mentally, and usually better able to take advantage of an easy transit, or deal with a difficult one.
I firmly believe that it is much better to know what is coming – even in a general sense – than not to know anything at all.
It’s sort of like getting a weather report. I would rather step outside in the morning with some idea what to expect than be caught by surprise when the dark clouds gather on the horizon, or conversely, when a beautiful day appears during a week of stormy weather.
2. You get more perspective on the bad times in your life. One more benefit of the 12-month forecast is this – when times are really bad, it’s great for your morale to be able to look at your forecast and realize, for example, that if I can just hold on until September, things will start looking better.
Bad times have a way of making us myopic and strictly focused on the short term. Astrology reminds of the cyclic nature of life, and can give you something better to look forward to when you’re down.
3. You can stay in better touch with your loved ones. And finally, having a 12-month forecast for those closest to you can be invaluable. Too often we are busy and lose touch with our lover, spouse, or children (especially a teenager!). It is extremely helpful to be able to read their forecast and get some sense of what they are going through at the moment. At times this has alerted me to take appropriate action when I was preoccupied with something else entirely. Having a loved one’s forecast available can help you in the same way.
