Maya's Astrology Gift Ideas
Giving someone an astrological or horoscope-related gift is a thoughtful and highly personal expression of caring. Under the right circumstances any of the items I review on this site could make an excellent gift. Right now I have two general categories of gifts that may be of special interest – Personalized Horoscope Reports (immediately below) and Jewelry.
Unfortunately, none of the ideas below is available today as a gift card. But the Personalized Horoscope Reports below are delivered immediately online, a big advantage if you’re in a hurry. | Personalized Horoscope Reports
I see more and more people giving information and services as gifts these days. And anyone with even a passing interest in astrology would enjoy receiving a personalized horoscope. I have two suggestions for you to maximize your gift’s impact:
- If you order a personalized horoscope for someone, it will be much more accurate and meaningful if you can provide the recipient’s birth date, time and place when you order online. Providing just the birth date (including year) will work, but the report may be less accurate. I advise you to get the place and time off the recipient’s birth certificate if at all possible to make sure it’s correct. A mistake of just a few minutes in the birth time can affect the accuracy of the final report.
- These reports are available online within minutes so you can get them fast, and then forward immediately via email, which is great for long-distance gift giving, especially when time is short. But if you’re going to present the gift in person I recommend you print off the report on a good printer (some reports are in color) and put it in a nice binder that you can wrap for an attractive presentation.

- Personal Horoscope – Look at my Personalized Birth Horoscopes page for your options. Astrology.com and Jonathan Cainer provide reports that make particularly attractive gifts.
- One-Year Astrological Forecast – Great idea for the holiday season, or a birthday. Go to Personalized Annual Horoscopes and you will see a lot of options. Even though it is more expensive, I especially recommend you consider Jonathan Cainer’s Zodiac Forecasts because the report prints as a PDF and is very presentable.
- Baby and Child Horoscopes – Go to my Personalized Child and Young Adult Horoscopes section and look at The FutureMinders and Astrology.com selections.
- Pet Horoscopes – I’m just waiting for the opportunity to give a pet horoscope to someone. Go to my Personalized Pet Horoscopes page and sniff out the Astrology.com and AOL Horoscopes reports.
- Chinese Birth or Yearly Forecast – Here’s an interesting gift idea for someone who knows something about Western astrology but has little exposure to Chinese astrology. Or, obviously, someone with an East Asian background. Go to the Personalized Chinese Horoscope Reports page.

Jewelry
- Western Horoscope Jewelry – This is a terrific gift idea – a “wearable, readable and mathematically accurate” personalized birth horoscope translated into jewelry and available as a bracelet or necklace. You just have to see the Wandering Star Designs review.
- Chinese Sign Jewelry – I like this too. The site is called KarmicMart and it’s run by Shelly Wu, an American expert on Chinese astrology. Check out Shelly’s sterling silver necklaces with attractive Chinese Zodiac symbols. You can look up the correct Chinese Zodiac sign instantly on the site; you just need the recipient’s birth month, day and year. See my review.
